TEAM APPLICATION OVERVIEW

SheEO is comprised of energetic and passionate young women who all share the common goal of increasing gender inclusion in technology. We are looking to maximize the amoung of girls impacted with this organizaiton. Applicants will be chosen on a yearly basis and will be assessed on their personal skillset including, but not limited to, their technical, leadership, and organizational skills. Those who served on the SheEO team in the past will be able to reapply for the SheEO team and their past work with SheEO will be a major determining factor for their selection in the following year.

TEAM POSITIONS

Directors of Curriculum Development

There will be two students chosen as the Directors of Curriculum Development who will help with creating an engaging and hands on curriculum for the SheEO workshop attendees. Students selected for this role must have experience using software such as Google Drive (particularly Google Slides), Microsoft Office, and Canva.

Directors of Marketing

There will be two students chosen as the Directors of Marketing who will help SheEO market and promote their workshops and competitions through various social media platforms (primarly Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter). In addition, they will be expected to help create flyers, banners, and posters for SheEO's marketing purposes. We are looking for extremely timely and responsible students who have an eye for design.

Directors of Sponsorship

The two Directors of Sponsorship will be responsible for community outreach activities as well as emailing companies and businesses to sponsor SheEO and its events. The directors of sponosorship must have excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills. We expect those chosen for this job to be able to relentlessly email and cold call companies and businesses for their support.

Directors of Finance

The two Directors of Finance will be responsible for updating and keeping track of SheEO's budget and conducting research for fundraising opportunties for SheEO. Students for this position will be selected based off of their organizational skills as well as their demonstrated responsibility. Furthermore, we are looking for students who have experience with dealing money in a club or school organization and have access to software such as Microsoft Office.

Director of Web Development

The Director of Web Development will be selected based off of their technical skillset and their past programming experience. We will be selecting a student who has previously worked with languages such as HTML, CSS, and Javascript as well as the Bootstrap and JQuery libraries. Furthermore, we expect this student to work with GitHub so having a GitHub profile will increase the chance of recieving this position.
